Oota laughs at his poor progress in the single-digit test and goes to find some entertainment. He soon turns to Kashiwada, a calm but mysterious classmate. He plans to trick her and make her laugh or react, but all his plans fail every time.
Oota is also named the class clown, who often gets punished by his teachers. They believe it is hard to hide facial expressions for Oota. On the other hand, Kashowada is always quiet and unreadable.
Despite their differences, Oota and Kashiwada have a special bond with each other. This connection urges them to wonder if opposites really attract?
